A COUPLE of Burnley fans left their mark on the Blackburn Rovers pub in the Isle of Man -- but it was all in good spirit.
The Rovers Return is owned by big Rovers fan Martin Brunnschweiler, who sponsors Ewood winger Damien Duff.
The Clarets are currently playing in the Isle of Man tournament and with 300 fans making the trip from Burnley one group popped in to have a look at Martin's shrine to Rovers.
"We just had a quick look in, told him we were Burnley fans, had a quiet drink and then had a photo taken with a Burnley scarf outside. It was all good fun," said one Clarets fan who wished to remain nameless.
Brunnschweiler was worried that his pub in Douglas may get invaded by Clarets fans and did hide some of his memorabilia.
"We don't want anything on display that could entice trouble but the majority of Burnley fans will be well behaved. I am merely erring on the side of caution.
"I welcome all supporters and I hope to see as many fans as possible enjoying a quiet drink."
