SEVERAL hundred Rovers season ticket holders are being forced to give up their seats for the first home game of the season against Manchester United.
Supporters in the Darwen End are being kicked out to make way for thousands of fans descending from Old Trafford.
All supporters will be relocated.
The game, on Wednesday August 22, will be all-ticket and fans must apply in writing from August 1.
Fans must provide stubs from two matches from last season and can apply for as many tickets as they usually buy per game ie. to buy two tickets two separate stubs from two games last season must be provided.
The sales policy will be maintained throughout the sale period and the number of stubs required will not be reduced.
The match will be shown live on Sky pay-per-view.
Applications should include stubs and full payment with a large stamped addressed envelope provided.
Tickets will be posted out from Wednesday August 8.
Due to matchday demands, the club will not be able to accept applications on August 12, the date of the friendly with Barcelona.
