LOCALS turned out in force to support the seventh annual Water village fete.
Diane Myrtle, one of the founders of the event, said it was hoped that last year's total of £2,300 would be exceeded.
The money would go towards local charities.
She said: "It all went very well and thankfully we had lots of people turning up to support us."
Music was supplied by Water Village band and local folk due the Dubious Brothers.
The attractions included 'welly cobbin', a horse racing dice game, bouncy castle and tombola.
The event on The Commercial pub car park was sponsored by Valley Inns Ltd.
