BELLY dancers have been strutting their stuff to beat breast cancer.
Members of Golborne Egyptian Dance class, who meet on a Thursday evening at Golborne High School, have been helping raise money for the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Dancers from the Golborne class and from others where Helen Roberts teaches in the area have bought raffle tickets and taken part in a sponsored shimmy.
So far, the classes have raised nearly £100 for the charity.
For more information, phone Helen on 01942 721453.
"A few people find a shimmy hard to do at first because it works best if you really relax, so for some it has been a real 'breakthrough' to be able to shimmy for so long," said teacher Helen, whose aunt died of breast cancer.
