ONE thing I could not stand when I was at school was History, although I now find it fascinating to read about what went on in the years when people were ruled by royalty -- sounds like my mum!
I especially enjoyed looking at a Tudor website that listed what life was like in Tudor England back in the years when King Henry Vlll ruled and married six women in the meantime.
It has details of all his wives' lives and how and why they came to their merciful deaths. The piece on his second wife, Anne Boleyn, made very interesting reading for people of all ages.
The site is also an excellent resource tool for children doing their history homework. They will soon be the swat of the class with the help of this site.
