A KING-sized bed, a leather suite and a fridge freezer were among the haul of items stolen -- in broad daylight -- from a Blackpool house.
Burglars broke into the house on Marsden Road between 9.05am and 8.45pm on July 12. They forced the front door and de-activated the burglar alarm, which they had set off, before making an extensive search of the house.
The thieves took property worth £6, 810, including a Hotpoint 1200 spin washing machine, a fridge freezer, a microwave oven, a king-sized bed, a brown leather suite with wooden arms -- worth £3,000 -- and a child's sofa bed.
Police said that the burglars must have used a vehicle to remove the goods, and it would have taken them some time to load up. They were appealing for anyone who may have seen the thieves to call them on 293933.
