BLACKPOOL Pleasure Beach has unveiled its boredom-busting summer activities for children. The park is promising free admission for children to shows, weekend wizard schools and UK Youth Day celebrations as part of its plans for the summer holidays.
Starting this weekend (July 28) and every Saturday until October 27, Mystique star Richard De Vere will host Wizard School and the Staff of Power in the Horseshoe.
Inspired by Harry Potter, the interactive show involves 5-11-year-olds -- and accompanying grown-ups -- with hands-on magic.
On August 4, the Pleasure Beach's cheeky Beaver Bradley will lead a parade of cartoon characters round Blackpool before returning to Beaver Creek for a party.
Rowing champion Sir Steven Redgrave and world dance champion Marc ET of top group Bahamen will be hosting UK Youth Day celebrations at the Pleasure Beach on August 31.
And throughout August children up to 12 years can see Hot Ice, Eclipse or Mystique free when accompanied by a full paying adult. Every second child can see a show for half the child price. For booking information phone 0870 444 5588.
