Inventor Jim Oliver developed a fabric of polyester, wool and Lycra, which doesn't go shiny after wash and wear, and promises to save the owner a fortune in dry-cleaning bills.
It doesn't iron itself though does it? That's where it falls down for me, because in my experience, few men may be able to press their own trousers, but jackets are another matter.
And that's one thing that professional dry cleaners do brilliantly.
