HI READ a lovely letter in a magazine for oldies. A pub quiz team allowed a guest with limited general knowledge to write down the answers for them. They did well and reached a tie-break question, What was the name of Frederick Forsyth's novel about the assassination of Charles de Gaulle? The team whispered their answer to their compiler who scribbled it down and handed it to the compere. They were surprised to lose - until they discovered she had written "Dave The Jackal". It does happen doesn't it?
