THREE lucky winners of the St Helens Star/St Helens Council Bob the Builder colouring competition get the chance to meet BBC celebrity Bob at the opening day of the St Helens Show on Friday, July 27 where he is making a guest appearance.
The youngsters - Hollie Preston, aged five, from Eccleston; Ryan Fairhurst, aged four, from Fingerpost and Baylea Mines, aged four from Sutton Leach - will meet Bob the Builder and pose for photographs with him. They will also be presented with a bag of Bob the Builder goodies, courtesy of the Early Learning Centre.
There were more than 1,500 entries for the Star's popular colouring competition and the Council's Events team would like to say a big thank you to all those who took part and extend an invitation to local youngsters to come along to Sherdley Park at noon on the opening day of the show where Bob will be meeting young fans and visiting attractions and side shows.
The show runs for three days until Sunday July 29th.
