THE Rotary Club of Rainhill have raised £1,200 in aid of the charity International China Concern.
The money will be used to fund a trip back home by Englishman David Gotts, founder of the charity which helps orphaned and abandoned children.
David currently runs three orphanages and rehabilitation centres in China which offer more than 100 rejected youngsters a loving home and hope for the future. During his stay in England, funded by the rotary club, he will be aiming to drum up financial support to furnish and equip a fourth orphanage.
