A MASKED knifeman escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash after threatening staff at an off-licence.
The raider, brandishing the knife and wearing a stocking over his head, entered Hutton's off-licence in Cambridge Road, Newtown, at about 9.30pm on Sunday, July 15.
After threatening staff, he grabbed the contents of the till and ran out. Police believe he may have got into a blue-coloured car parked nearby and headed in the direction of Queens Park.
The man had a stocky build and was thought to be aged about 30 years. Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Martin Reeves on 0151 777 6052.
