PEOPLE living in Parr and Blackbrook are being urged to have their say on issues affecting them.
Members of the Parr & Blackbrook Alliance (PABA) set up to give help and support to residents in the neighbouring districts, are calling on the public to attend the group's monthly meetings.
These are held at Parr High School on the first Wednesday of every month starting at 10am and all residents of Parr and Blackbrook are welcome to go along.
PABA delegates have contact with many local organisations including Pathways groups, crime prevention groups, SRB committees, St Helens Federation of Tenants and Residents Association, and the Groundwork Trust. The group is also a member of the CVS and sits on the Communities Opportunity Fund Committee.
Issues tackled recently include the proposed closure of Parr High School, the need for dog wardens and an animal sanctuary in the town, wheelie bins and neighbour nuisance.
