LEIGH RMI keeper Craig Dootson could be playing in the World University Games in China later in the summer.
Dootson, who lives in Adlington, has been selected in the final Great Britain squad of 24 that has begun preparation for the Games in Beijing.
Dootson has recently graduated from Edge Hill College with a BSc in Sports Studies and is a former pupil of Wigan & Leigh College.
He is training with the GB squad at Lilleshall and Bisham Abbey before the squad is cut to 18 and flies out to Hong Kong for acclimatisation on August 8. GB's first games in the competition, which kicks off on August 22, are against Mexico, Nigeria and China.
