ASPIRING young actors and actresses in Colne put their talents to the test during a drama workshop at the Birtwistle Community Centre.
The workshop was just one of the many summer activities available to youngsters between the ages of eight and 11 years in Pendle.
Pendle Holiday Playscheme co-ordinator Richard Lawrence said: "Each of the seven sites running the scheme was given an itinerary of work to do, with sessions in the morning and afternoon, and it is up to the play leaders at each site to choose what they will do.
"Throughout the five weeks there are trips out, a magic show, football coaches coming in, road safety talks, sports and drama and a mini Olympics and disco at the end of the last week."
The scheme will keep the children entertained until the schools in Pendle re-open.
