RESIDENTS are being given the chance to see what work is proposed for the land north of the Healey Dell Nature Reserve in Whitworth.
On August 7 there will be an evening walk when experts from the Environment Agency, Wildlife Trust, Groundwork Rossendale and the local Rossendale Rivers Initiative will be on hand.
The walk, which meets at the car park on Market Street opposite Oakenshaw Avenue at 6.30pm, will take the residents through the site pointing out sites which have been identified for potential work and then allowing the residents to discuss these ideas. Work should take place in the area over the next few years.
