A 13-year-old Nelson boy appeared before a youth panel at Reedley Youth Court yesterday on seven separate charges.
The teenager was charged with possessing an air weapon while under the age of 14, having a loaded air weapon in a public place, possessing an air weapon with intent, having air weapon ammunition while under the age of 14, criminal damage, actual bodily harm and common assault.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on June 18.
The case was adjourned for three weeks until August 20 to allow representations to be considered by the police and for copies of the interview tapes to be obtained and supplied to the defence.
