BLACKPOOL Tower celebrated its 100th anniversary.
Special visitors, civil dignitaries and celebrities from all over the world joined in the celebrations.
Blackpool celebrated the event in style and a time capsule was planted in the tower's ballroom by former Dr Who, Jon Pertwee.
