PRE-school children enjoyed a teddy bears' picnic while having a story read to them at Darwen Library.
Every Saturday the library holds a story hour, but over the summer holidays it is being made into more of an event.
So this time the 36 children aged five and under brought along their teddies, enjoyed biscuits and a drink, before ending the session by colouring.
The picnic will take place every Saturday morning throughout the holidays. The event is free, but parents have to get a ticket because there are a limited number of places.
For more information call the Library on 706021.
