SEVEN-year-old Simon D'John had an "eel of a tale" to tell his friends when he returned to school after a whopping fishing trip.
The tiny angler, of Charter Street, Accrington, was fishing in the Leeds and Liverpool canal at Infirmary locks, Blackburn when he netted a 4ft 3in long eel.
