DRIBBLING, heading and tackling are footballing skills being taught to youngsters aged from eight to 14 at Haslingden Sports Centre.
The footballing fun week is organised by coach Rob Kennedy who said it was used by local clubs as an opportunity to spot talent.
He said: "We have 32 children on the course which aims to provide a general introduction to football for the younger ones while the older ones, who already play for local teams and schools, can develop their skills.
"It gives them something to do during the summer holidays and is better than them hanging about on the streets."
A further football fun week will run from August 13 to 17 and in September after school lessons will be held three times a week. The course costs £35. To book contact Rob on 01706 227016.
