TWO men have been arrested following a robbery at an ex-servicemen's club in St Annes this week where the club steward was threatened with a handgun.
The two men entered the club in Alexander Road at 10.05am on Monday and demanded the takings from the steward. Following a struggle they fled with some money and were chased into the street by the steward. The robbers then produced a handgun before escaping in a white vehicle.
After a search two men were arrested on suspicion of the robbery and were detained at Blackpool Central police station.
