I HAVE thoroughly enjoyed myself at Arts in the Park in Blackburn. The variety of events was spectacular, from plays and circus acts to jazz and classical music. The atmosphere was wonderful, with the whole community obviously having enormous fun.

I should, therefore, like to give a public thank-you to the local authority for putting it on and all the wonderful performers, stage hands, crew and everyone else involved in giving us such a great time. I can't wait for next year's event.
