REGARDING Arts in the Park, congratulations to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council for a very enjoyable event.

But the filth and rubbish left behind by the thousands of people who attended is totally unacceptable.

These are the same people who complain if dog dirt is left on the ground.

I quite agree that leaving dog dirt behind is unacceptable behaviour on the part of the owners, but so is leaving food, glass and vast amounts of litter.

As a responsible dog owner who uses Corporation Park every day, I feel I must complain about their behaviour.

This also applies at all other times when people enjoy the facilities of the park.
