LEIGH RMI manager Steve Waywell has signed 27-year-old Michael Reynolds from Ayr United.
The striker, who previously played for Unibond Premier League side Emley, joined Ayr in December 1998 for a fee of £60,000. "Jelly", as he is known to Ayr fans, scored two goals in his 34 appearances for Ayr and a further 41 from the substitutes bench.
Marcus Hallows, 25, has completed his move from the Eircom League of Ireland Premier League side, St.Patricks Athletic. The Bolton born player was transferred from RMI in 1995 for a fee of £10,000 to Bolton Wanderers. From there he moved to Stockport County and then to Ireland fora spell at Sligo where, in season 1998/99 he was top scorer with 14 goals. This earned him a 'high profile' transfer to St. Patricks where he scored several crucial goals for the club.
