PREPARATIONS for Great Harwood festival are almost complete with music and beautiful flower displays planned for the event at St Bartholomew's Parish Church.
The organisers of the festival, which is in its fifth year, will be decking the church with flowers from August 23 to 27.
There will be 40 floral displays inspired by music ranging from Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat to Handel's Messiah.
The Houghton Weavers will be joining in the fun, appearing at Great Harwood Cricket Club on August 23 at 7.30pm, while the Rossendale Ladies' choir will be performing at the church on August 25 at 7.30pm.
