WHEN it comes to heritage -- Preston has it boxed!
A row of nine telephone boxes near Preston market are to be captured on camera as part of the images of England collection along with the Harris Institute on the Flag Market.
By the end of next year, a comprehensive collection of Lancashire's built heritage will form one of the world's largest free on-line picture libraries.
The project, run by the National Monuments Record, aims to make information and images of England's 370,000 listed buildings accessible via the Internet. Log onto www.imagesofengland.org.uk to see the lot.
