PUPILS at a Poulton music school have hit the high notes by scooping 51 distinctions in music examinations.
Music Time, in Blackpool Old Road, entered 69 students, aged between seven and 40, for the piano and keyboard exams and 51 gained distinctions -- meaning a mark of over 85 per cent. Of the 18 remaining students, 17 were awarded merits. Top of the class was 10-year-old Hannah Bailey who gained 94 per cent in her initial grade keyboard exam.
School principal Nicola Reid said: "I'm delighted. The exams were really hard. They are the best results we've ever had."
