HELP The Aged is appealing for unwanted mobile phones, following the launch of its recycling scheme this week.
The charity is encouraging people to donate mobile phones, along with their chargers, to the local Help The Aged shop.
Money can then be raised by selling the handsets to a company that specialises in second-hand mobiles.
Howard Stirrup, director of retail at Help The Aged said: "By donating old phones to a local Help The Aged shop, people will be helping us to raise valuable funds to help isolated older people."
