PENDLE Council has received a large number of applications from developers Primesight for planning permission for new bus shelters to replace the old shelters recently removed across the borough.
The proposals are for shelters with illuminated advertisement panels and hoarding advertisements at:
BARROWFORD: at the corners of Rushton Street and Gisburn Road and Portland Street and Gisburn Road
BRIERFIELD: outside the library and opposite Ann Street in Colne Road
COLNE: opposite the Municipal Hall and the Town Hall, outside number 20 Church Street, at Farm Foods in Market Street, opposite Cotton Tree Lane in Keighley Road, on the corner of St Stephen's Way and Byron Road
LANESHAWBRIDGE: opposite Vernon Road, across from School Lane, opposite Kingsley Road
NELSON: outside the Leeds Road health centre, at the corner of Walton Lane, at the junction of Rakeshouse Road and Leeds Road, outside Kwik Save in New Scotland Road, at the corner of Pendle Street and New Scotland Road, at the corner of Clough Road and Barkerhouse Road
BARNOLDSWICK: opposite West Craven High School, across from the war memorial in Kelbrook Road, at the corner of Skipton Road and Fernlea Avenue
EARBY: at the corner of George Street and Skipton Road
KELBROOK: outside the chip shop in Colne Road
SOUGH: at the corner of Sough Lane and Colne Road, opposite number 257 Colne Road.
