ACCRINGTON'S Sound 2001 festival hits the town next weekend and features one of Manchester's newset and most promising acts.
Nylon Pylon draw influences from the likes of Leftfield and the Chemical Brothers but promise to deliver their own sonic sounds with a rock and roll ethic.
Bassist Richard Stubbs said they had been working on the project for the last seven years but had only recently put the band around the music.
The band are winning high profile friends from their gigs.
