DARWEN Library's summer sessions are all sold out - but parents who want to take their children along can still do so, because organisers will try to accommodate them.
Organisers say children and parents just can't seem to get enough of events such as teddy-bears' picnics, Harry Potter days, play schemes and other activities for those who want to do something different over the holiday period.
And it isn't just Darwen Library that has enjoyed such success. It's been the same story at Blackburn Library.
Adele Karwat, reader development officer for Blackburn with Darwen Council, said: "We are delighted with the response to our children's events for the summer holidays.
"It is good to know that parents and carers are taking advantage of the fact that youngsters can go along to their local library and join in with other children to enjoy a morning or afternoon of fun.
"If anyone wants to attend a particular session but is unable to get a ticket, they should still go along to the library at the time of the event and if all ticket holders do not turn up then we will do our best to accommodate them."
