ACCRINGTON Stanley and Clitheroe have arranged a second pre-season friendly this Saturday after the Blues beat Stanley 3-2 at Shawbridge.
It was Clitheroe's first win of the summer in preparation for their North West Counties First Division campaign.
Stanley manager John Coleman opened the scoring early on before Jason Jones equalised for Clitheroe.
Richard Fogarty got his first goal for the Blues since his move from Great Harwood to put the home side ahead on 15. Stanley equalised again around 10 minutes later but the Blues went ahead again almost immediately through Neil Spencer.
Stanley, who had around five first-team players on display, are thought to be planning to play a near-full strength side at the Crown Ground on Saturday.
Blues assistant manager Lee Sculpher said: "It was a good work out for us and we used 17 players. We played well, as we have in all our pre-season games."
