TRANSPORT bosses have issued an apology after an information line was out of action for four hours.
Greater Manchester's public transport information line was hit by a power failure on Thursday afternoon (Aug 2).
This resulted in the call centre, which is responsible for handling local bus, train and Metrolink inquiries, being shut down while the problem was fixed.
A spokesman said: "The problem has now been resolved and we would like to apologise to any passengers affected by the disruption.
"We are taking steps to ensure that an incident of this nature does not re-occur."
Full details of local bus, train and tram services are available from Greater Manchester's public transport information line on 228 7811 between 8am and 8pm seven days a week.
