A BRAND new show taking Blackpool by storm has all the pizazz, glamour and fun of the fifties and sixties, providing a glorious evening of cabaret at its very best.

Like a burst of seaside sunshine, a terrific troupe of singers and dancers lit up the stage with a staggering number of slick and perfectly performed routines and a different costume to match each one.

Fronting the show is pint-sized yet dynamic vocalist and comedienne Leah Bell, whose charismatic performance ensured that everyone joined in with the fun, from the three little girls at the front to the 'oldies' of us who actually remembered those halcyon days of yore!

An established package from Jersey, the show features the versatile vocal talents of Johnny de Little, and the ever-smiling young dancers, The Beehives, whose energy just defies belief. Newcomer to the show is vocalist Peter Donegan, the cute and handsome seventeen-year-old son of the great Lonnie, who treats us to a line dance version of his father's hit, Putting on the Style.

With at least 30 routines, flamboyant costumes and wigs are changed at lightning pace. Bobbysocks complete golden outfits for rock 'n' roll songs, little red dresses with knee-high boots for a Lulu number, clingy exotic bodysuits with tall feathers for Broadway, the list is endless.

Memories of the musical Hair, teddy boys, flower power, liberty bodices, hooped skirts and, of course, the Beatles are all here!

Mouth-watering snacks and cocktails are available, and show-times are 2.30pm and 7.30pm, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until September 9.

Take the stairway to Paradise and you're in for a treat!
