LOCAL charity groups will benefit from an anniversary fun day organised by Asda to celebrate being open in Colne for 30 years.
The fun day, at Holt House Playing Fields, in Colne, attracted the crowds yesterday afternoon with a variety of stalls and a fun fair.
Strong man Lee Bowers demonstrated his strength by pulling a car from the fun fair around the main arena and games such as the egg and spoon race were held for the children.
There was also face painting by the Colne and Nelson Rugby Club and a crack an egg stall by the Nelson and Colne Lions.
