WORN-OUT parents handed their children over to the Leyland play scheme this week for five days of fun.
Now in its 26th year, the project had something to offer even the most adventurous five to 14-year-olds.
Play scheme director Jim Green, said: "Over the week we have had around 600 children in Worden Park, and there are so many things for them to do.
"Everything from drama, music, athletics, rock climbing to pony riding. We also take them out on trips to the cinema and the local megabowl."
