TWO artistic youngsters have scooped an award in a competition to celebrate National Poop Scoop week.
Ten-year-old Samantha Walmsley from Hall Lane in Leyland and Celia Dixon, 6, from Round Acre in Penwortham received their trophy's from council dog warden Debbie Priestley.
Debbie said: "The competition involved colouring in a picture and there were two age groups, three to six years old, and seven to ten.
"The competition was run to promote the National Canine Defence League's Poop Scoop week -- last week -- which was to help make people more aware that they should be picking up their pet's poop!"
