A KNOCK-OUT weekend was had by all at the 37th Lions Clubs' International Carnival spectacular.
As the weather held out, the crowds came in their droves to enjoy all the fun of the fair and soak up the carnival atmosphere of the annual event at the Lawson Road Showground in Blackpool.
People indulged in outrageous fancy dress and hilarious antics in the 'Help a Local Child' Big Knock-out event, while others simply enjoyed browsing around the various stalls.
The promenade carnival procession on Sunday also proved a great success by raising around £2,560, from the bucket collection alone.
Ken Ogden, who recently retired from his long-serving position as carnival chairman, said: "It all went extremely well, the weather was brilliant and the parade was fantastic. It was extremely busy and I'm sure we have raised lots of money this year.
"Some of the highlights included the West Lancashire Dog Agility Team and the shire horses."
