I WOULD like to agree with the letter by Mr Hassall about the 194 bus.
My wife and son are both diabetic and the 194 was the perfect bus for appointments and visits for people and myself for Whiston Hospital.
A few months ago a member of my family was in hospital for a week, so instead of taking 10 to 15 minutes to go to visit them, it took up to 90 minutes. I did take the train a few times but had to walk from Clock Face to Lea Green, then from Rainhill to Whiston which is okay if you are a young person, but if you are an older person you cannot walk so far.
I also got the 38 bus from Lea Green but the fare, which was £1.45, was a bit high as on the 194 you could get a return for less than that.
So come on, bus company put the 194 back on for the people who used it and need the bus. Forget about profits and give us back our 194 please.
