MANCHESTER United won't be coming to Turf Moor after all.

The Clarets were meant to play a friendly against Sir Alex Ferguson's side next Tuesday but the game has been postponed.

The majority of Manchester United's playing squad have been called up for international duty.

Burnley manager Stan Ternent, said: "Unfortunately, more of Manchester United first team squad have been called up for international duty during the same week we are due to play United.

"We have agreed that the match should be postponed and arranged for another time when Alex Ferguson can bring a stronger squad to Turf Moor."

Both clubs are hoping to organise a new date for the friendly.

Anybody who paid in advance for the ticket will be refunded in full from the Burnley FC Box Office.

All refunds require the original ticket and in the case where payment has been made by Switch, Visa or MasterCard the original card used for the transaction is required to make a full refund.

Any payments made by cash or cheque will be refunded with cash.
