ON Saturday Sutton CC First XI visited Liverpool Nalgo.
Batting first after a late start Nalgo batted well to make 150-6 declared.
At 50-2 going into the last 20 overs Sutton were poised to got for the win but suddenly they found themselves 65-5.
Some excellent batting then from Keiron Barr, who finished on 46 not out moved the score along but Sutton finished just short on 133-8 to draw the game.
It was a similar story at New Street were after another late start Nalgo rattled up 182-4 declared.
Sutton received only 33 overs due to the weather and finished on 105-8 to also draw their game.
On Sunday the Third XI visited Spring View CC and came away with an excellent win.
Batting first Spring View were 106 all out with Ste Moss 4-7 and skipper Karl Gavin 4-32 doing the damage.
Les Yates 18, Ste Moss 18 and Gary Clarke 17 helped Sutton win by two wickets.
