LOCAL youngsters are being given the chance to enjoy an activity holiday in Scotland thanks to the St Helens Community Opportunities Fund and Kids in Need and Distress (KIND)).
The project, financed by the fund, will involve eight young people going to work as volunteers for a month at the countryside centre in Ayrshire. It will not only be good experience, but also an opportunity for young people to develop their personal and social skills, The trip also includes a training package for the young volunteers covering sujects ranging from first aid to archery.
