A QUANTITY of tablets reported stolen in Blackpool on Friday have been found.
Several blister packs of benzhexol, haloperidol and clorzarial tablets, which Police say were being used to treat a mental health condition, were inside a bag thought to have been stolen as it was waiting to be loaded onto a vehicle on South Shore promenade.
Officers had warned people against taking the tablets which they said could be harmful.
But today (Monday, August 13) a Blackpool Police spokesman confirmed the bag and tablets had been found by staff at a Blackpool hotel and said it appeared the bag may have been mislaid rather than stolen.
