WELL thank you very much, ITV. As if Saturday evening telly wasn't bad enough, it's going to be even worse for non-footy fans.
And an evening of two boring halves at that.
From August 18, the first showing of the Premiership will be from 7pm to 8.15pm, with a second 90-minute version beginning at 11pm.
Do they really have to?
As if there wasn't enough of the flaming game ruining viewing during the week. Surely the 11pm session is enough.
I know the family entertainment shows they put on at tea time on Saturday are mostly garbage, but I can bear some bits of Blind Date, especially the ones when the couples return and slag each other off.
I can do well without Brucie's The Price is Right and Stars in Their Eyes, but putting footy in their place is beyond a joke. What's happened to having a laugh?
Football might be regarded as family entertainment by the powers that be, but it'll cause more than enough rows.
Don't they realise most women are not interested? I'm totally disgusted by the move. It's definitely off side.
