WE are constantly being told of the serious consequences of global warming, but I think East Lancashire is immune to this!
The heating in my home has been on during May and June and in the first two weeks of July. Up to then I counted six hot days this summer!

Sometimes people with good eyesight, may, after long staring, perceive a dull glow behind mountainous clouds. Yes! The sun!
I was told at school (a long time ago) that the sun is 90 million miles away. I estimate that it is far more than that!
