HAVING recently returned from Peru after doing a 100-kilometre charity trek through the Andes for SCOPE, I would like to thank all those who helped me raise more than £1,600 for children with cerebral palsy.
These include: family, friends and neighbours, Silentnight, Burnley Lions, Wilkinsons, BAe Systems and Webron Products for their donations and Morrisons at Nelson and Blackburn for allowing me to hold in-store collections, Lloyds Pharmacy for donating medical supplies, Tenerife Connections and Carport UK for providing free transport to the airport, Lancashire Sports Repair for providing hiking equipment and Badger Books.
I could not have done it without the help and support of all these people.
LINDA GREENWOOD (Mrs), Oakeneaves Avenue, Burnley.
