A TEENAGER has taken a giant step towards achieving her ambition to join a professional ballet company.
Nina Rostron, of Rishton, has won a place at the prestigious Hammond School in Chester, where she will study for the next three years.
The former Norden High School pupil, who started dancing when she was five, described the news as a dream come true.
She said: "I have always loved dancing and decided to make it a career when I was 12. Being accepted for the Hammond School is incredible and I can't wait to start."
