FEMALES from Hyndburn are to have to opportunity to join others from throughout the region at a training conference for women living in the countryside.
The get-together is the work of Clitheroe-based training company Springboard, which provides information and training for rural women throughout Lancashire.
It will take place on September 5 at Waddow Hall, Clitheroe from 10am to 4pm.
Gloria Oates, the High Sheriff of Lancashire, will open the event.
Speakers include Sally Robinson, from North Yorkshire, who runs a successful internet lingerie firm from the family farm and managers of farm shops and holiday cottages.
Springboard project officer Janet Gilliver said: "We aim to give delegates advice on how to overcome barriers they face looking for a new job or trying to set up a business."
