THRIVING Pennine Telecom opened its doors to host the fifth meeting this year of the Bury Business Club.
And the event proved to be another informative and entertaining evening in this season's highly successful programme.
The keynote presentation was given by Dave Fricker of Pennine who began with a quiz on events in 1976, the year the company was established.
He shared with members the strategy and philosophy of the business which during the last 25 years has seen its turnover reach £12 million and its workforce grow to 90.
During the evening, there were presentations from several club members with "spotlight" introductions from technology, accountancy and design companies.
Chairman Stephen Singer also presented a scheme for members to recycle used printer cartridges in a way which would be both environmentally friendly and make a contribution towards a respected charitable body.
The next meeting of the Business Club will be at the new offices of the Bury Times on Thursday, August 30 beginning at 6pm.
